the south of the town of Godalming, Surrey, UK.

here for a map showing the
forum's area of activity.
Residents of the districts of Busbridge, Holloway Hill, Crownpits and Bargate
Wood can now exchange information and express their views to the authorities
through the forum.
Forum meetings are held approximately four
times a year but there is also a lively exchange of views by e-mail. Residents can sign
up for the e-mail list — click here to send your details to the organisers.
The forum is independent and non-political. It does not serve sectional
interests or seek to usurp the function of other organisations within the area.
Its function is to provide a focus for inclusive community action and help residents communicate their views to the
authorities, including councils, the police, Royal Mail, road authorities and
licensees in the area.
Subjects currently
under discussion include:
-
Priorities for policing the area
-

"This is a wonderful place to live. The
sense of community is what keeps it that way. Although the area is very low on crime, residents are aware of the
need for vigilance and social cohesion. The forum aims to encourage that
spirit."
Mike Harrison, Forum
Chairman, December 2006
